Dear Clients, Partners, and Associates

My name is Joshua Spirgi, and I would like to take this opportunity to provide you with an insight into who I am, the journey that led me to Blue Concept Asia, and the value I bring to the team.

After growing up in Hergiswil, a small town near Lucerne, Switzerland, my family moved to Hong Kong in 2010 for what we initially thought would be a two-year adventure. As is often the case with such plans, my father extended his assignment. Fourteen years later, I find myself on my own professional journey after my family returned to Switzerland in 2018. I am proud to call Hong Kong my home. Moving here and connecting with a fast-paced, international community broadened my perspective on the world and enabled me to grow into the person I am today.

Since 2016, I have been running my own e-commerce shop, hkBREADBOX, alongside my studies. After graduating in 2019, I managed a highly rated event company in Hong Kong for nearly three years. Unfortunately, the pandemic forced us to pause our operations. Seeking a new challenge where I could build upon my skills and gain further experience, I joined Blue Concept Asia in March 2021 to focus on marketing activities and enhancing the company’s online presence. Within a few months, I aligned with the vision and mission of our dynamic team, and for nearly four years, I have been growing the business alongside Anna and Dani.

In my current role as Operations Manager, I focus on consistently improving our internal procedures and ensuring we comply with the highest standards of corporate governance. We take great pride in our professional services, and I am excited about the next stages of our growth.

As a child, I was fortunate to grow up with strong family values. Christmas was always a special time when our extended family gathered together to reflect on the blessings of the year, share laughter, and create cherished memories. These traditions taught me the importance of connection, gratitude, and celebrating life with those who matter most.

In more recent years, with most of my relatives living in Switzerland, I have carried those values forward and created new traditions with the family I have built along the way. Spending Christmas and New Year’s days with the BCA team and the lifelong friends I have made in Hong Kong has become a deeply cherished part of my life. These moments remind me that family is not just about the people we are born with but also about the bonds we form with those who walk alongside us on our journey. Together, we reflect, celebrate, and look forward to the opportunities and joys that lie ahead.
