Dear Clients, Partners, and Associates

My name is Daniel Mijic, and I am honoured to share a bit about my journey and the values that drive me as the owner and principal of Blue Concept Asia.

Born and raised in the Principality of Liechtenstein, I began my career in the Trust and Company Service Industry in 2001 with First Advisory Group. This renowned institution, founded in 1954 by the late Prof. Dr. Dr. Herbert Batliner, provided me with a solid foundation in private wealth planning industry. In 2013, I embraced an exciting international opportunity in Hong Kong, supporting the integration of trust operations after the group’s acquisition of LGT Bank's trust business.

After nearly 16 years of diverse and enriching experiences, I transitioned in 2017 to play a pivotal role in strategically supporting a newly established family office, owned by Mainland Chinese principals, in Hong Kong. I was responsible for setting up its in-house trust company and securing the necessary licensing. Additionally, in my role as a board member of the family office, I was actively involved in shaping its strategic development. This experience provided me with invaluable insights into the complexities of conducting business in and with China.

In 2019, I decided to take the next step in my career, taking on the role of owner and principal of Blue Concept Asia. With nearly two decades of expertise, my vision has been to bridge the Eastern and Western worlds, offering a unique blend of consulting and coaching to help clients, partners, and associates navigate the complexities of both cultures out of Hong Kong. As we approach January 2025, I am incredibly proud to celebrate five years of operations under my leadership. Moreover, April 2025 will mark the company’s 10th anniversary—a significant milestone that reflects the dedication, hard work, and excellence of my team and the trust placed in us by you.

As we near the festive season, I want to take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas. For me, it symbolizes respect, loyalty, and integrity—values that resonate not just within the Christian world but across diverse cultures and beliefs. Christmas offers us a chance to pause, appreciate our loved ones, and express gratitude for those who enrich our lives, both personally and professionally. I am profoundly thankful for your trust, collaboration, and commitment as clients, partners, and associates, and I deeply value the relationships we have built together.
